Our Mission

Born in South Tyneside, James was a happy, kind and energised little boy who just loved to love.

 

His favourite things were dinosaurs, football and spending time with his family and friends at nursery.

 

Tragically, on the 26th June 2022, James was rushed to hospital where 3 days later on the 29th June he passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones.

During those 3 days James was cared for by an amazing team of nurses and doctors who provided support and activities for family to participate in, by making memories and keepsakes.

After James’ passing, unfortunately, there was not access to equipment that would have provided more time for family to remain with James and therefore he was taken to rest in the hospital chapel. In a bid to give something back and carry on James’ legacy of kindness, his family have decided to fundraise for equipment to enable other families to have the option of spending more time with their loved ones and have the same experience of making memories and treasured keepsakes during that time.
